- Led 5th-8th grade students through the North Dakota Heritage Center teaching lessons on villages and survival methods of the early Native Americans in North Dakota

- 45+ hours with 9th grade Physical Science and AP Physics
- Developed and taught 4 lessons that utilized technology integration, formative and summative assessments, and multiple day lesson planning
- Managed and set up lab activities with mentor teacher
- Planned curriculum and completed parent teacher conferences with mentor teacher
- Gave a variety of formative assessments throughout the class period and adjusted instruction based on student understanding

- 30+ hours with Kindergarden-7th Grade
- Led gym activities and assisted 7th grade students with projects and homework during class time
- Experienced the culture and history of the Native Americans on the Standing Rock Reservation as well as the effects of low socio-economic status on the school and student education
- Learned the importance of prioritizing positive relationships, establishing trust, and providing for the basic needs of students before their academic needs

NET Ministries
- Served as a NET missionary for 9 months
- Traveled the New England region of the United States and conducted over 130 retreats for middle school and high school students
- Stayed with host families of various socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds
- Volunteered at an in-between center that provided second chances for former convicts that were transitioning back into society
- Recognized the importance of second chances by providing at-risk students opportunities to succeed

- Led activities with students of varying mental, behavior, and trauma needs
